For this senior portrait of Phillip, I used one Westcott FJ400, high-speed sync, and the setting sun to create a clean tone-on-tone look. I break down how I exposed for the sky first, balanced flash with ambient light, used color harmony to guide the portrait, and finished the image in Lightroom without relying on heavy editing.
